Nudist Hiking Trail in Germany

01 Oct 2009
nudist-hikers
Nude hiking has become a bit of a trend in the alpine regions of Switzerland and Germany.  Thanks to the efforts of Heinz Ludwig, who owns a campsite and restaurant in a small German village near the Harz mountains, Germany will soon have it’s first officially designated nudist hiking trail.  The planned route will meander 18 kilometers (11 miles) through beautiful mountain scenery in central Germany.

“Naked hiking in the fresh and healthy air, when the weather is good, is an experience that many people just don’t want to miss out on”, says Kurt Fischer, president of the German Society of Nudists.

PETA's Veggie Sex Super Bowl Ad

27 Jan 2009

PETA's "Veggie Sex" Super Bowl ad has been banned from TV! The video features a bounty of half-naked beauties getting up close and personal with pumpkins, asparagus, and other assorted vegetables. NBC considered the ad to be too hot for Super Bowl XLIII.

NBC’s specific reasons for rejecting the video included concerns over “rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin,” a woman “screwing herself with broccoli,” and other compromising woman-vegetable positions.

However, you can watch this sexy video right here at Nature Girls – just click the screenshot to the left.

The 25 Hottest Green Girls

09 Jul 2008

hottest-green-girlsEarthFirst has tracked down the 25 hottest girls in the environmental movement, introducing us to some beautiful women who are going to save the planet and look sexy doing it.

Included among these super-hot eco-girls are Daryl Hannah, Rachel McAdams (star of ‘Wedding Crashers’ and blogger for “Green is Sexy“),  and Leona Johansson (”the planet’s most eco-friendly porn star”).  Believe it or not, even Paris Hilton made the list.  Seriously!

These sexy green girls could probably stop global warming all by themselves, if only they would stop wearing bikinis.

Europe’s Sexiest Vegetarians

15 Nov 2007

sexy-vegetarian EcoStreet reports that Victoria Eisermann (left) has been crowned Europe’s sexiest vegetarian woman in a contest sponsored by PETA.   You can view all the other finalists here.

Obviously PETA has proven beyond any doubt that vegetarians can be sexy.

However, for those of us who don’t have the willpower to abstain from eating a nice juicy cheeseburger, I recommend eating organic, locally produced meat from animals that have been raised humanely.

Environmental Refugee” is a superb collection of artistic nude photography by Oliver Regueiro. The intent of this gallery is to raise awareness of the plight of millions of people worldwide who are displaced from their homes as a result of environmental deterioration. Such environmental refugees are expected to increase dramatically in the near future as a consequence of global warming.

600 Nudes on a Glacier

21 Aug 2007

Nude eco-warriors
Spencer Tunick is a New York artist famous for staging photographs of large nude gatherings in public places. His latest work of art, sponsored by Greenpeace, took place on Aletsch glacier in Switzerland last Saturday. About 600 nude volunteers formed a “living sculpture” in an effort to promote awareness of climate change. Most of Swizerland’s glaciers are expected to disappear by 2080 as a result of global warming. The temperature during Tunick’s photoshoot hovered around 50 ° F (10 ° C) – there must have been lots of shrinkage (and erect nipples).

Naked Hiking Day

21 Jun 2007

June 21 is not only the summer solstice, it’s Naked Hiking Day:

“It’s a celebration of the commencement of summer, an expression of the freedom of being in the midst of nature, and basically an excuse to get naked.”

The holiday is most commonly observed on the Appalachian Trail. Unfortunately, here in New England, it’s a surefire way to get eaten alive by blackflies and mosquitoes.
